This was stated in a report published in the British newspaper "The Guardian" on Thursday (4th April).

The Foreign Office directly rejected the claim of the British media. "Such allegations are completely false and malicious," External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Friday.

In the last five years, more than half a dozen anti-India militant leaders have died in Pakistan. Some of them were killed and some died in mysterious circumstances.

And in almost all cases, the finger of blame is pointed at the Indian intelligence agency RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). Lashkar-e-Taiba leader Akram Khan, Akram Ghazi, Andan Ahmed, Maulana Ziaur Rahman and Mufti Qaiser Farooq are among the insurgent leaders killed recently on Pakistani soil.

  • "26/11 Mumbai Attack" Lashkar chief Azam Cheema,
  • Lashkar occupied Pakistani Kashmir commander Riyaz Ahmed alias Abu Qasim,
  • Pathankot attack mastermind, Jaish-e-Mohammed
  • Chief Shahid Latif, United Jihad Council (UJC) and
  • Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen (TUM) militant group Sheikh Jamil-ur-Rehman,

The list also include Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Bashir Pir, Khalistan Liberation Force Co-Founder Lakhbir Singh Rode, Khalistan Commando Force Chief Paramjit Singh Panjwar.

Since the Pulwama attack in 2019, India just like Israel's intelligence agency Mossad has been trying to kill the anti-India militant leaders who have fled abroad, according to the Guardian report.

The report also claims that so far more than 20 militants have been "targeted" in New Delhi. However, the External Affairs Ministry rejected the allegations, saying, "It is not India's policy to conduct assassination operations on the soil of other countries.".
